Topseal applied with roller                         & non-slip application

  1. The substrate must be completely clean and dry before proceeding. Marks on surface will show through.

  2. Do not overfill roller and roll excess from edges of roller to prevent lines of thicker product. Apply a consistent thickness.

  3. For first coat, apply in small sections rolling in a north/ south direction.

  4. Second coat may be applied as soon as first coat is dry (approximately 1 hour depending on weather conditions).

  5. For second coat, apply in small sections rolling in an east/ west direction.

  6. Depending on weather conditions the Topseal will be dry enough to take light foot traffic and rain after 4 hours.

  7. Do not allow wheeled traffic or storage of any materials on Topseal for 3-4 days, depending on weather conditions.

To achieve a non slip finish with Topseal sealer a light sprinkling of fine washed white quartz sand is applied while the first coat is still damp - second coat is applied over first coat to lock in sand.

Please note

Process can be achieved by using an airless spray gun, with the same procedures applied.
