Hard wearing

Produces a hard wearing ﬁnish. Abrasion tests show an increase in the abrasion index of at least 50%.

Resists staining by spilled materials such as sump oils, fats, food, tyre marks, chewing gum etc which enables easier cleaning and maintenance of coated areas.

While intensifying the colour of the treated surface, Topseal is clear and does not yellow in sunlight.

Water resistant

Water runs off rather than soaking into coated surface.

Inhibits moss growth

The reduction in surface moisture reduces the likelihood of moss, weed, fungus and mildew growth

Atheistically appealing

Enhances the colour of pavers by creating and enduring ‘wet look’ which enables the paving to retain its new appearance for years rather than months, as well as masking

efﬂorescence bloom and preventing dusting.

Recommended Materials

Concrete

As a protective coating for ﬂoors, tilt up wall panels, blocks and roof tiles. Ideal for suppressing dust, reducing efﬂorescence, stopping water penetration, atmospheric contamination and where retention of the existing appearance is required.

Clay

Used for all clay building products, including all brickwork in internal and external applications including clay roof tiles. Topseal sealer inhibits water penetration which in turn increases the thermal insulation factor as well as preserving the appearance of the treated surface.

Masonry

Topseal can be applied to most masonry surfaces including stone facades, limestone, slate and ﬁbro cement surfaces. Sealed surfaces may become slippery, care should be taken.

			Product Topseal is a special formulation of acrylic polymers speciﬁcally chosen for their weather resistance and hard wearing properties carried in an aromatic hydrocarbon base. The acrylic co-polymer formulation produces a hard wearing, easy to clean, abrasive resistant, clear or coloured surface to repel grafﬁti. Application Prior to applying Topseal Anti Grafﬁti Sealer the area is high pressure or chemically cleaned to ensure surface area is completely clean (the area must also be completely dry prior to Topseal being applied). Sealing Two coats (minimum) of Topseal Anti Grafﬁti UV Stabilised product is applied to the surface. Finishes Gloss, semi gloss, matt, also anti-slip surface is available. Cleaning Future cleaning of most grafﬁti can be achieved with a good domestic detergent wash and stiff broom followed by a hosing down. For more difﬁcult grafﬁti removal, a solvent based product may be used. A high quality Topseal solvent is available and should be used strictly as detailed in Topseal’s Safety Data Sheet recommendations and speciﬁcations for such applications.
